The England Coast Path has now been extended across the River Axe Sluices, and our path is now the signed route for the Coast Path, at least for 9 months of the year. From April 16th – July 16th the Path is open via Brean Down and the banks of the Axe. But for most of the year, this Axe section is closed on account of wading birds.
