Our volunteer ranger, Neville Champion, who has maintained the first path to perfection, has downed his tools and is now putting his energy into National Trust work. We are most grateful for all of Nev’s work which has set standards we hope to emulate elsewhere.
Trevor and Simon Hicks at Diamond Farm have very kindly agreed to take on the grass-cutting and verge maintenance. But we do need a new cadre of everyday walkers and cyclists to keep the path clear of litter and a friendly place to be. Please aim to look after this path as you use it.
