Our works to improve the Tintern end of the Wye Valley Greenway are complete – in time for the tunnel reopening on 1 April. The work would not have been possible without grants from Forest of Dean District Council and Wye Valley National Landscape, Forestry England for permission to work on their land, and our contractors, Goldings and wonderful volunteers.
We have also grateful to Sculptor Katy Hallet, who has allowed us to mount her prototype models prepared for the Sustrans Connect 2 grant sculpture programme in 2006. They complete the Bishton Lane spare props.
